South STL Residents Get Creative & Support FoCP

FoCP kicked off summer fundraising events this week with unique activities for friends and neighbors to get together and show their support for Carondelet Park. Our first event was a succulent planting class in Pavillion #1,  hosted by Laura Dooley of LoKey Designs. Community members learned how to make and care for their unique planters. For our second event, local artist Holly Essner created a special edition painting of the Carondelet Park Boathouse. Holly instructed future artists at Quincy Street Bistro for a night of canvas painting. Community members created their own interpretation of the iconic landmark that we all know and love.

We thank you for all of the support that the community has show us at Friends of Carondelet Park this week. We hope to see you at a future event. See you in the park!
